SHIPPING POLICY


STANDARD delivery option: Within Canada only. Orders take 7-15 business days.  This option offers limited shipment tracking of your order.

EXPEDITED delivery option: Canadian orders take 6-12 business days. US orders take 9-15 business days.  This option offers full tracking of your order.

EXPRESS delivery option: Canadian orders take 5-7 business days.  US orders take 7-8 business days. This option offers full tracking of your order.

OVERNIGHT or 2 DAY delivery option: Please contact our office directly at 604-876-3994 to arrange for this type of shipping prior to ordering online.

Tracking My Order:
When your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification.  If you have shipped using the EXPEDITED delivery option, you will be provided with a tracking number and a tracking link.

Undelivered Orders:
Orders that are returned to us due to an incomplete, incorrect or otherwise undeliverable address provided will not be automatically re-shipped to the customer and will only be resent at the customer’s expense. In addition, orders which are not claimed by the customer for any reason will not be automatically re-shipped to the customer and will only be resent at the customer’s expense.

Lost Orders:
Orders that are undelivered and have not been returned to us will be considered ‘lost’.  We will re-ship the order at no additional charge once this ‘lost’ status has been verified.

Important: Shipments made outside of Canada may be subject to import duties, taxes, and/or brokerage fees, which are levied once your package reaches the country of destination and are assessed by the shipping company’s import broker. Such duties and taxes are billed directly from the shipping company to the recipient and are the responsibility of the customer.


RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICIES


Our Policy

The Mystic Masala Ayurvedic Aromatherapy products can presently be bought four ways:

  1. At our Mystic Masala Aromapothecary in Vancouver
  2. At one of our partner retailers that carries Mystic Masala products
  3. At a gift or trade show where we have a booth
  4. Online at themysticmasala.com

Our partner retailers will have their own return policies that are specific to each store.  Mystic Masala products purchased from one of these retailers can only be returned directly to that store or boutique in compliance with their return/exchange policy.

There are no refunds on products purchased at a Mystic Masala booth at a gift or trade show.  Contact us within 30 days of your purchase to arrange to send it back.  Exchanges can be made for other merchandise or an online credit can be issued for future use on our website.  Additional shipping charges and/or price discrepancies must be paid for prior to exchanged item being sent. For products purchased at the Mystic Masala Aromapothecary or online which you are not satisfied with, you can return these to us for an exchange or refund within 30 days of the receipt of your purchase.  A copy of your original invoice is needed in order to refund or exchange your purchase.  A full refund or exchange is only provided if the merchandise is in its original condition.

Please note, there are no refunds and exchanges on sale items.

All returns will be credited back to the original payment type (credit card, PayPal, cash).  Any shipping and/or handling fees incurred from an online order are non-refundable.  Please note that if you return merchandise without a receipt or invoice, we can only provide the last known value of the item in the form of a merchandise credit.

Decide that you want something else? Contact us within 30 days of your purchase date to arrange to send it back.  Do not send any additional payment (such as a check or money order) to cover a price difference for an exchange.  If applicable, your original payment method will be credited for the difference when the exchange is processed.  Any additional method of payments received will not be processed and will be returned to you by mail.

Return Procedure

  1. Check to make sure that you are within the exchange/return/damage policy limit.
  2. To ensure the accuracy of your return, remember to enclose your invoice.  (Be sure to make a copy for yourself for future reference.)
  3. Return the merchandise to us using the carrier of your choice.  Be sure all return shipment costs are pre-paid and shipment is insured as we cannot exchange or credit orders that are not received back in original condition.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Order Cancellation Policy

Prior to shipment of your order, you may cancel it at any time by emailing us at orders@themysticmasala.com or calling 604-876-3994.  If your order has already shipped, you can return it to us in accordance with our return policy.

Although it is a rare occurrence that The Mystic Masala would cancel an order, we reserve the right to do so as well as the right to refuse any subsequent orders from a customer should any of the following situations arise:

  • An order cannot be processed due to an error in payment information provided. This may include, but is not limited to, incorrect credit card number, expiration date or security code
  • Incorrect billing information (ie. billing information provided differs from the information your financial institution has on record)
  • Insufficient/incorrect shipping address is provided (street address, city, state/province, zip or postal code)
  • Fraudulent information, including previous fraudulent activity
  • Pricing, stock, or typographical errors.

Important Information Regarding Your Credit Card Order and Order Cancellation:

The Mystic Masala reserves the right to request additional evidence for proof of billing information and for your protection. In these rare cases, your credit card order may be delayed while we confirm your billing information.


COUPON POLICY


Your The Mystic Masala coupon code is redeemable for savings on online purchases at Our Mystic Masala Marketplace.  Coupon codes are to be entered and applied when prompted during the shopping cart checkout process.  Coupon codes cannot be replaced of redeemed for cash.

Coupon codes valid for free shipping can be used for Standard Shipping methods only.  In any cases where Expedited Shipping is chosen during the shopping cart checkout, the difference in price between the Expedited Shipping charges and the free Standard Shipping charges will be charged.


PRIVACY POLICY


The Mystic Masala values our customers and promises to respect their privacy and ensure their security.

All information gathered through themysticmasala.com (including shipping, billing, and credit card information) is solely for the purpose of completing your transaction. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our customers through our secure checkout system.

We use your contact information to communicate with you regarding your order, and your have the option to receive further communication about our products and promotions in our monthly email newsletter. If you would like to be removed from our mailing list at any time please use the UNSUBSCRIBE link in the email you receive. You will not be re-added at a later date (unless you subscribe using a different email address).

We will never sell or rent the information you provide to us online to any third parties.

If any of our information practices should change in the future, we will let you know by posting the policy changes to our website.
