1. How do you begin your day?
Sukhi: I begin everyday with gratitude and exercise. The moment my feet hit the ground from my bed I open my eyes and think about everything in my life. I take those pictures and images and drop them into my heart and let it swell with Gratitude. WIth a smile on my face I then move into training for the day and life. As an ultra-endurance athlete this is swim, bike and run.
2. What’s one piece of life changing health advice you can share with others?
Sukhi: Your mind and body is the vehicle in which YOU get to fully experience life. You must be a vigilant gate keeper of all the ideas, messages, thoughts, services, nutrients, minerals and toxins that enter. This is your sacred temple… If you don’t take care of your vehicle where will you live? All of this affects your biological and atomic state which alters your perception of reality. As conscious creators of this world your internal state directs your external reality.
3. What’s one thing that gives you hope for the future?
Sukhi: The next generation… I can’t imagine what the children being born today will be able to inspire in the world. They don’t have to wait 20-30 years to learn the things that have inspired many of us on a conscious path.
My daughter, Indira. Her ability to live innately, see the beauty and simplicity of life and just be LOVE. She is the fuel that drives me to help make this world a far better place than I entered it. The consciousness of her generation is the most expansive in the history of humanity. Humanity has woken up.
4. Any lifestyle ‘Crimes against Wisdom’ (Prajnaparadha) that challenge you?
Sukhi: We live in an economical system that thrives on profits and the bottom line. Historically the health, well-being and welfare of humanity is rarely first (although this is changing). We have food products that are disguised as real food, that cause illness and disease. We have a disease management system disguised as a health care system. A system based on control where toxic drugs and surgeries are performed to treat the effects while the cause of ailments are ignored. In reality we are ALL designed to live with extraordinary health, happiness and success. To thrive, not just be alive. Humanity needs to be educated and empowered, not controlled.
5. A moment of beauty that inspired you today?
Sukhi: The moment my daughter wakes up she’s smiling and grinning ear to ear. She is the most beautiful being that inspires me to serve.
Thank you for the interview, Sukhi. Om Shanti!
